Enable Spotify's web player right now

The popular music streaming service Spotify is currently rolling out its first web based player for all of its users. If the music player has rolled out for you already, you can access it under play.spotify.com. A redirection away from the play page indicates that your Spotify account has not been activated yet to make use of the new web player. There is however an option to make that happen right now, but only if you are willed to link your Facebook account to your Spotify account. If you are, you can click on this link on Facebook to enable the web player right now for you so that you can use all of its functionality.Note again that this will link the Facebook account to the Spotify account. The method works for both free and paid Spotify accounts and should get you access to the new web-based player. You are automatically redirected to the Spotify play website where music starts to play right away in your browser.

Spotify has a new free service, allowing people to listen to music on-demand on their phone. Now, users be able to listen to the songs that are in its 15 personalised playlists, which works out at about 750 tracks or 40 hours of music. The on-demand listening will come as part of a redesigned version of the Spotify app. It will give people the ability to listen on-demand to the songs in many of its biggest playlists. Users will be able to listen to those limited songs whenever they want, and however many times they want – so long as they are in the personalised playlists. Until now, free users on mobile could choose only to shuffle artists or genres, meaning that it was impossible to listen to specific songs. The company said that it had worked on new streaming deals with the record labels to be able to give away the songs for free.
