Spotify a bit like Pandora with the Stations app

Stations is the new application of Spotify, currently available only for Android, which incorporates the concept already successfully tested by Pandora.
Although no longer accessible from Italy for many years for licensing reasons (a long time ago it was), many will remember Pandora as one of the most intriguing platforms at the dawn of music streaming. It is still one of the most long-lived and most successful services in territories like the United States, thanks to its particular formula: instead of allowing the choice of songs to be reproduced, it offers customized playlists based on the user's tastes. A listening mode that seems to be proposed also by Spotify
The group has in fact published on the Play Store a new application called Stations, which at the moment still is not accessible from our country: apparently the download is currently only active in Australia and accessible exclusively by the staff of Spotify. Allows you to select a genre or a playlist and then automatically generate a list of tracks to be played. Listening is started immediately, with the ability to change stations quickly by performing a simple swipe. The group does not receive any confirmations regarding a possible public rollout of the project, as a spokesperson for the TechCrunch website is reporting.
It is therefore not clear if Stations is an experimental project destined to remain confined within the staff of Spotify web player or if in the future it will be made available to everyone. Of course, a similar listening mode could act as a catalyst for potential new users, allowing them to experiment based on genres and playlists, perhaps interspersed with advertisements, then proposing the subscription of a paid Premium subscription.
